Policy Change on Show Cancellations

The results of the TWiT Survey are in and the verdict is a resounding win for the network. The remaining fans, as previously reported, are clinically brain-dead. Therefore instead of announcing show cancellations the executive team has decided not to tell the t-shirt purchasing idiots when shows are canned. Padre’s Corner fans have our sympathy (for many reasons) but they should not have to be told here that their show is no more.

It seems the strategem of not telling fans that personnel was terminated became such a success that they have now extended it to show cancellations as well. No wonder Leo looooooooooves the fans and the towns they hail from so much.

And silly me believed Padre was just sneaking in when the lights were off to spend time with the fans and geek out. Ca-Ching Ca Chang.

Speaking about China. In other news you can lose Mike Elgun has gone on record saying that Apple didn’t give him an advance hands-on review unit of the coveted Apple Watch because….. swallow your drink ……. he is too much of a straight shooter journalist and they only give it to less credible and easily bought with favors journalists. The mega fool went on to co-host with one such journalist from Cnet and interview another from USA Today. One of the hundreds of ironies in that statement is that the News Director has been drooling over this watch like…  well… like… you know who over the dark triangle.

  1. How was the cancellation of Padres Corner announced? I don’t watch that show, I basically only watch shows when my daughter is on the network. I’m starting to have some concerns about the well being of my daughter around that Leo and Lisa? I might need to have a talk with her?

    1. Go to twit.tv/cal.
I doubt they cancelled it, Padre is a free host/TD/editor and hosting costs $20. Even with one sponsor every 10 shows it’s still all profit. Padre couldn’t get anymore guests. He exhausted all the twit people and his contacts through Night Attack/Merritt

  2. On Friday’s ‘Tech News Today, ‘ Gummo looked extremely upset and morose as the breathtakingly beautiful Christina Warren (her of the big doe eyes, porcelain skin and ebullient personality) was fawning all over her new Macbook Pro, provided by Apple for reviewing purposes! Gum didn’t get one. And hers was gold!

Even Gum’s commercials for all that crap #soupguzzler makes him sell suffered. His laconic delivery was worse than ever because he knew after those commercials ended, Christina would keep rubbing the iWatch in his pitiful countenance, and he’d have to run to the bathroom for a good cry.

  3. Padre is totally on board with #soup. He is irritated when the fucking fans dare to ask him questions. We do it when we want you sheep-fan, deal with it. I was waiting for him to say, “how is that even a question, we’re done here Tada.”

Answer the fan you asshole. The show was on Friday nights, now it’s not, a fan asked why.

    Answer him.
