Just like his prior flights of fancy, master troll Father Robert Ballecer — disgusting priest with a persecution complex — told another fib on Twitter.

We’re totally confident he took pictures, video, and can tell us who the company was. Right? Right?

    1. No, he’s just a fraud.

      How can he be shocked when he wears his frock to CES? No other job, vocation or profession requires one to wear their uniform 24/7.

      What if a doctor went to CES in scrubs? Or an off duty cop went in their police clothes? Or a clown went with his red nose and makeup?

      They would be called nuts.

  4. Seems to me this is another case of the crybully/internet wimp/victim mentality so prevalent around the internet social networks as their called. He is a grown man acting like a little cry baby. What does he expect sympathy? Could have used the opportunity to confront said rep face to face and work things out right there and then like real me do, instead of using the twitters to vent out whatever bothered him. Just one man’s opinion.

  7. So here’s my theory on the priest:
    He was the child of religious immigrant Filipinos. He grew up being the weird awkward nerd. He either was very shy with girls or gay. He didn’t want to embarrass his parents, so he entered the preisthood. Now he lives the perfect life (in his mind):

    He gets to play with tons of nerdy techy shit
    He’s loved by his parents and others b/c he’s devoted his life to God.
    He doesn’t have to talk to girls
    He doesn’t have to give in to his gay desires
    There’s no pressure on him to achieve anything else. He doesn’t have to have a family, a job, a house, or responsibilities.

    It’s kind of sad really.

  9. I suspect there’s a convention either among some Jesuits or some priests that you should dress as a priest while going about your daily business, as a way of spreading the word or being a beacon to the community.

    It’s probably made up, but I bet he would say he’s following convention in dressing how he dresses.

    1. He is at work. His check from Twit goes to the church. He has to fill out a budget for the church yearly. He is given expenses and access to a car. However his vow of poverty is a really gray area.
      It means if they send him out to do real church work he must leave all his junk behind him. Most priests and nuns are highly educated or trained. Some wouldn’t last 10 min in the real world.

      Remember the church while it ‘s goal may be good, it is one huge global corporation.
      I inter-act with priests and nuns a lot. Most wear street clothes with friends and family. Leo can gift him cash whenever he wants. Every group, company, and church has a fair share of creepy people.

    2. He has said that the clothing he wears on camera is a stipulation of his employment at twit. The Jesuits want him to be seen as of the church doing things people may not think is typical of the Catholic church.

      And I don’t give a shit what someone wears.

      Tim welcome. I do hope you find some humor here. I think people here are just making some frustrated comparisons of a once great pod casting idea to what it is now.
      Some posts are even over the top for me. But I find this place curious. I am also entertained.

    2. There is a range of people here from a little batty (me) to completely insane (Holden, for one). If you think it’s bad here you should take a look at the TotalDrama IRC. About a dozen people spend their entire day making fun of podcasts they hate and of people they despise while they watch every minute. They spin total lies to each other about impending doom for everything associated with TWIT. Some wish gruesome deaths on TWiT people, and I don’t think they’re kidding.

      I have logged it as I have logged #twitlive and then looked at the log briefly. I admit that’s batty, but I am an internet rubbernecker. The trainwreck I look at for a few minutes every few days, though, is not TWiT, it’s the TD crazies who hope Leo dies of the beetus, because he sold out for money and a new wife or Megan whose eyebrows are too big and seems too happy for her own good (or the good of the bottom dwellers who hate her). BTW, I think Megan is pretty which means they hope I will die imminently as well.
