The lovely and talented Sarah Lane is cutting the ribbon on a new show via TechCrunch called “Crunch Report.” The debut is set for March 23rd at 4PM Pacific but being that it is not live, the start time seems inconsequential. The show will be daily but it is unconfirmed if Sarah will even be hosting. We do not as yet have sources inside their HQ, we need like a week or two. It was described by an insider as a visual version of the Techcrunch website.
People looking for anything other than news in this post will have to wait. Those days are gone. Not gonna happen. People change, it’s called a metamorphosis, so there is nothing else to say. Keep dreaming. But we are looking forward to her input on the set design.
Why totaldrama became the number one [#1] destination of everyone in Silicon Valley is beyond me, those people have issues. Anyway, there are two types of people in this world, the people tuning in to watch her show debut and the bottom dwelling, scum sucking, backstabing, evil, heartless and worthless a-holes wasting good oxygen. Which are you, grow up and pick a side.
I feel like I’m being spoken to directly in this post. I deeply miss TD.eu. It was a welcomed break from day to day activities and more than a handful of lolz. #JustNews sounds incredibly boring. Maybe the irc will still be fun but I have my doubts.

TD.eu was hilarious at times, but often it was just plain juvenile and cringe-inducing. I primarily visited that site (and TD.org before it) for actual news of the shenanigans and missteps at TWiT.
I do hope we’ll be seeing more of that sort of reporting again, but with a dose of well-placed and above-board humor.

Someone has to do a piece on how Needles’s entire existence has been taken over by Meerkat. He won’t shut the fuck up with his annoying off camera comments about it. How can some people not realize how annoying they are?
By the way, I’m doing a Meerkat RIGHT NOW! Watch it at – oh wait, I’m being an annoying sheep.

Yawnn. Sara lane is over rated by this site. Not to mention she has a serious bitch vibe to her.

I agree she added nothing when tnt was good

I agree. I found her Berkeley humming too much to listen to.

I don’t understand why Leo keeps Sarah on iPad Today. Megan is easily as good or a better host for the show. Sarah has developed a prima donna complex. She arrives late to record iPad Today and makes no apologizes. She either records 1 or 2 shows on a Saturday or none at all depending on her wishes, according to Leo. It’s amazing how a small talent can be leveraged into a high paying career if one is socially adept and in the right place (Bay Area). She is a lucky, lucky woman.

I agree with the others. Sarah is a prima donna. Megan may be boring in her on-air presentation, but she seems like a nice person.

Despite her perceived lack of tech savvy, Sarah is an on air talent and capable host – something that is sorely lacking throughout the ‘network’. The much maligned LL is the last professional broadcaster-for the network to move forward they need solid hosts – Jason and Scott W are great, but are best in supporting roles. There’s nothing left and sadly the Sr Management had been incapable of attracting someone with a Veronica B, Selena Larson, Sarah Lane, Ambermac, Tom Merritt type screen presence – they’ve all been driven away – the live broadcasting remains in shambles.

Nice? Is that how we judge a host? Skilled, someone we would like to listen to, someone who imparts some insight.
Megan does none of that.
Sarah was nice to look at. I agree, not great to listen to. On TNT I would mute it when she talked. Not a joke. I literally ran to my mac to mute it.
Sometimes I was slow and got bits of hum, annoying.

So… Are we just pretending the last 3 months didn’t happen?

I would say – sure she is decent to look at (pretty decent in the IT world), above average hosting skills, not terribly technical – but whether true or not strikes me as ‘could be nice but probably very very high maintenance with a bit-o-bitch thrown in.’ I could also be completely wrong. She probably should have moved on from twit a long time ago.

Wow, I can only imagine the decade AOL thinks its in if it figures a show about the content of a website is innovative or in any way relevant.
Good on Sarah for finding more dumb money to leach off. It’s the bay area thing to do.

I’m not a fan of Sarah as on on air talent but she seems like good people. I’m glad she got out from under Leo and wish her much success far away from my eardrums.

All those years and she rarely got her tits out, glad she’s gone.
She was a miserable little control freak who always spoiled the atmosphere with her moodiness.
The only reason she lasted so long was because of Soups’ masturbating in the toilet.
That new bitch with the black hair is nice. I love the way she forcefully finishes her sentences when Leon butts in.
Sexy little milf.
See ya Sarah, i’ll check out Techcrunch a few times but if i see you ain’t getting your tits out i won’t be back.
Gorgeous little bitch.
