Possible salary and viewer numbers leaked to TotalDrama

UPDATE: We are now calling for action from TWiT.

We can't get enough of the shit on TWiT.The TotalDrama editorial board has been sent (via an anonymous source at TWiT) both employee compensation and show viewership numbers. We’ve been burned before, so we want to ask our loyal readers whether this information can possibly be trusted.

Our former inside source was fired, and this comes from one of TWiT’s newest hires. We’re not sure if it’s the real Jason C. Cleanthes (EffenDunn) or if we’re being taken for a ride. What do you think, readers? Should we publish this information that apparently has come from EffenDunn?’

We’re asking because the difference in pay between the male and female employees is extreme. The women at TWiT would be very upset if these numbers became public; after all, we are not monsters.

  1. A tough call. I’d release it with the strong disclaimer that you believe it’s real, but cannot verify for sure. However, if it displays a huge discrepancy in male / female salaries, it is further evidence of Leo’s misogyny.

  2. I used to watch TWIT, then it got bad… I then read TD, but now it has gotten bad too… With the sheer quantity of piss poor tech content and the painful Leo and Lisa love fest (from what makes it on air, it must be unbearable working there), it is not like TD should be hurting for material. Stupid teasers like this are not interesting…

  3. Well…….TWiT could be construed as being a public company since many people donated $$$ when the Brickhouse was being constructed (their names are on bricks in the entrance) and TWiT still receives public donations to this day. Therefore they could technically be allowed to view the financials of the company even if they’re not necessarily receiving a benefit (such as a dividend)…..but that’s just my opinion, I’m probably wrong……or you could just leak it to an anonymous public hosting site and magically announce you found it elsewhere and therefore you’re off the hook for any liability……but, again, I’m probably wrong.

It’s also possible it was leaked as a ‘Mole Search’ with different financials given to each person. Whichever financial report is made public exposes the mole in TWiT.

  4. Following Marcus’s lead, if multiple leaks did happen , do what the TWiT bookkeeper was trained to do and enter the figures in a spread sheet, average the columns and report and after that exhausting whoop de du, head for the soaking tub and a photo shoot with the Chief Creep.

  5. Soooo if TD pulls off this breaking news scoop, will it put you in line to fill the soon to be empty TWiT breaking news anchor position/slot/desk??? I think so… after the Barcelona Bungle there is no way L&L can keep Skippy on the payroll.

  6. Please don’t.

Of course everybody wants to see the numbers, and everybody thinks it’s somehow punish Leo and Lisa… but the people you’d really be punishing are Jason, JammerB, Burke, Alex, Frederique, Tony, etc. What’s the point? What’s going to change if you publish the numbers?

  7. The X Files has been off the air for too long. If it was still on the air, you would know that this is but one move in a chess game, a game involving these men who lay claim to the trust of the public but who use that trust against the very people who believe in it with their lives. A game that has parts and pieces too large to ennumerate, too spectacular to comprehend, but too dangerous to ignore. A game that must be stopped, and the men who perpetrated this crime brought to justice, whether in this world or the next.

(did I do a Mulder voiceover properly, or was it too short?)

Anyway, yeah you know it’s not real, we know it’s not real, so the question is whether it’s been done for a laugh by you/to you, or done to you as a trap.

  8. You are all gullible. Read the article again. HelloWorld is saying he received TWiT payroll info from someone claiming to be EffenDunn, who is a producer at TWiT.

Why would he risk his job? Why would a producer have access to payroll? Why would he send it to HelloWorld, who writes posts shitting on him constantly?

This blog doesn’t have any information that didn’t come from TWiT’s live stream or a dropcam. It’s never had an inside source and the biggest #scoup it ever had was getting a mentally disabled person to visit the TWiT Studio and we got so frustrated with him we banned him from coming in the chat.

Part of the reason this place is going to shit is because it’s about egos now and this is getting old. That’s why many of us have left or are leaving.

Joke is on you who fall for this. It’ll be made up like those fake invoices a far better writer faked for attention.

    1. Except people haven’t “fallen for this”. At least 2 of us have said we think the whole thing is a joke on/by HW, and the rest clearly don’t think it’s real. It’s just that we don’t feel the need to show how clever we are by saying that we’ve worked it all out.

Like HelloWorld and everyone else, we’re just having fun. It’s not our job to try to save TWIT, it’s not our job to be extremely serious about everything and make sure we get it right, it’s our job to enjoy ourselves.

I don’t know about others here, but one thing that makes me enjoy myself is reading comments like yours, clearly meant to show us all how much better than us you are.

Well, you got me. You’re better than me. But I’m still smiling, I’m still happy, and I’m having a great day without sneering at anyone else.

      Relax.

  9. I feel certain that the TWiT staff reads articles & post on this site. Would think that an employee at TWiT stealing payroll data guarantee loss of job. That employee who is leaking payroll info could be in legal trouble. Why would Jason(EffenDunn) go through the risk?

    1. That danger here is that anyone at TWiT, and I mean ANYONE, reading this shit , then believing it, could cause them real commotion. THAT in istelf could be grounds for a lwasuit against TD.

      Maybe.

      I dont know.

      What the fuck.
