On a recent episode of “iPad Today” one-time relevant and previously non-morbidly obese glutton Leo Laporte called Sarah Lane a liar. In near-complete shock, Sarah stumbles through the rest of the segment barely able to contain her hatred for her boss. Leo goes on to remark that Sarah will most likely break her promise to tell him the truth “by January 2.”
She needs to do something outside TWiT.
Any show, even for no money outside TWiT.

My guess is that over the years, he’s warped her mind into thinking that she owes her success to him – dating all the way back to TechTV. She seems like a nice person, so she probably tries to avoid conflict and doesn’t want to rock the boat too much. Unlike Tom Merritt, Veronica Belmont, Brushwood, etc. I think her non-Leo work experiences have been few and far between, and she doesn’t have the self confidence to just walk away.
What I find terrible though is this show they have going on…is this what each episode is like? It truly looks like the absolute laziest TWiT production of them all, and Leo seems like he’s almost sliding out of the chair. Every clip I see of this show Leo is just bitching about something and it doesn’t look like Sarah’s having fun.
I fail to see why iPad Today is even a thing.

Or it could be that she was fired, eh, let go, by her past two employers and really likes the safety of the steady paycheck Twit has provided for her for a number of years now.
And frankly, who can blame her when you see places like Rev3 basically being ransacked and Tom, now one year into doing his own thing, taking home maybe 1/3rd of his previous income for the same amount of work.

I never understand why people say things like this. Twit was a very different place two years ago. It’s common knowledge that she has a two-year contract. She can’t just go. I think Sarah could actually take an audience with her – Lisa would likely use legal action to prevent her from working until her contract was up if Sarah did decide to quit early. They didn’t with Iyaz because, as great as some of us think he is, he’s not exactly someone who could command his own show or draw anyone away fro Twit.

I believe that Sarah will be a no show at the New Year’s “soup ” party…which could provide a look into the future of TWIT for 2015. Will Chad be there? I am sure Tom and Patrick have their TUX on already….ha ha. They are so lucky and smart to be moving on up, without Leo. I cringe when Leo says he is working on hiring Patrick, and I think I am delusional ! I have to agree, the Giz Wiz is spending his last party with Leo and the lovely Li$a.
