TWiT™ and Diversity

We at TotalDrama wear a lot of hats.  Sometimes deep investigative reporting, sometimes pure speculation. Sometimes just having a bit of fun at someone’s expense. We even have a group learning how to edit videos.

Today I present my ode to diversity at TWiT.  Leo wants to be diverse, really. It’s just those darn diverse people seem to have real jobs.  Or aren’t that diverse.

  1. Common trick by earths greatest liar, offer someone making 150k a year a job making 60k. When he declines you say you tried.

This man never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never STOPS LYING.

  2. The 10 year dearth of AfricanAm employees is objectionable and possibly worth a review by Calif state regulators. LL always gives his phoney ‘we offered M Brownlee’ a job everytime we talk – this is empty nonsense. He’s a young brilliant kid going for his degree at Stevens Tech in NJ and a YT star/ They know he’s making a bundle, comes from a great family and has the world at his doorstep. Probably going for MS in an accelerated program – WHY would he go to the Lily White Brickhouse. Also note the condescending ‘urban’ voice LL puts on when he gets a call from a woman in Chicago or Atlanta etc – just abysmally insulting.
I personally highlight this and some other questionable Leo blunders, like questioning N Bilton’s orientation to sponsors- this will get LK where she lives – in the pocketbook.

    1. MKBHD probably makes in personal income after expenses what LaPorke does. LaPorke doesn’t enable talent he destroys it, he’s an egomaniac that can’t stand that he’s not relevant anymore. He’s a petulant narcissist , just like his president.

  3. So what can we presume that the near drought of Black guests on TWiT (Two in 12 months with total of 3 appearances) or I believe 1 single black Blogger/Reporter since that start of the year under #Gum as News Director on a show operating 5 days a weeks?

Not to mention the reduction in the number of female employees?

Seems to be that it is not a case of trying to create an environment where Diversity flourishes but to create one where there no or limited diversity at all.

Not only that but to “Offer jobs” to the people quoted. All are “East Coast” people. The offers are all tied with that same requisite “Move to Petaluma” .

As for the list of people, you can say that you offered them jobs but it seems strange that a blog such as iMore can snatch up someone but TWiT cannot? What was the offer, a piddly wage and as much verbal abuse and sexual harassment that can be endured?

As always there is something more to whatever #Soup says and there is a lot of fluffing out of the information that takes place to make it sound better than it really was.

    1. http://laschoolreport.com/deasy-planning-to-hire-his-own-liaison-for-misis-project/
This article is about Ms. Bria Jones, from Arizona hired to be in charge of the technology project at Los Angeles Schools that messed up the entire district. Why, what went wrong? It is a major disaster, 900,000 students, who is this Bria that could get it so wrong?

      http://laschoolreport.com/as-work-on-misis-continues-lausd-is-creating-misis-2-0/
This article is about another technology chief that failed really bad, first with the payroll system, now hiring Bria to run a program that fails again?

I am not saying what i am saying, how diversity can, at times, really mess up huge technology projects.
You see the relationships of a few tech people at twit, but what about when there are thousands trying to work in a poisoned work environment with totally ineffective people. No one can be fired. They are begging for the state of California to come in and see how badly things are messed up, can no one do a technology upgrade correctly? I actually heard some saying hiring diversity is preventing quality work.

  4. MKBHD don’t need twit, Twit needs MKBHD. But they can’t get and will not get him. He is to good. Why would you lock yourself down to a company that can’t get invited to Apple events.
