      By the time we have an article written, formatted, reviewed, and ready to post, all the discussion has happened in the prior article’s comments. So, I’ve been moving the comments so that they make sense with the article they belong to for future reference when looking at the articles.

      It wouldn’t make sense to read the comments on an article and all the comments be about something else, when there is a more appropriate article.

Also, it’s a lot harder to walk away from a job, no matter how shitty your boss is, when you have a home and a family involved. And that’s just what asswipes like Leo and Lisa can always rely upon. they have leverage over a lot of their employees (a.k.a. ‘victims’) because they know they can get away with all kinds of abuse and not suffer any consequences. When your only worry is quitting a job at Wendy’s and then being able to get a different job delivering pizzas than yeah, quitting is an easy out but for most of us it’s much more complicated and there’s a lot more at stake.

        Regarding her husband and his employment status, perhaps you live elsewhere but here in the U.S. now it’s much more common where a two-income household isn’t just to make for a higher quality of life but a necessity. The life Leo and Lisa are living isn’t the norm, it’s the exception.
