Shannon Morse Labels Leo Laporte a Narcissist

One of the more safe-for-work images we have of Mrs. Morse.

The wonderful, talented, and beautiful Shannon Morse — aka Snubs.zip — posted the following to Facebook. She hopes Leo Laporte will change, but she knows he won’t.

“OMG! I hope my old boss sees this. He was definitely a narcissist, and would fire his competition instead of giving them the ability to grow in their career paths. He would publicly shame anyone who disagreed with him, and he’d talk about himself constantly.
But they can change! I don’t think he ever will, but it would be nice. :)”

    1. Lisa almost refuses to keep up with anything especially when her boy Michael is mentioned. I doubt she ever goes to TD. Leo, being the incredible narcissist that he is, rarely visits because this site pisses him off so much, so he has a podunk lawyer looking at it to see if he can sue or find a way to shut it down.

Almost everyone else working at Twit reads this site and often add comments although I am not sure about some of the guests like chatterbox Christina Warren and mushmouth Larry Magpie who seem out of it anyway and must both also be narcissists.

Leo gets furious and blows up whenever he finds a staffer talking about the operation on any online forum.

          1. I’ve never really understood if it’s the teeth or the flat face that puts me off. She’s pretty and all, but I can’t quite figure out what makes me think I’d “lose” her number after a few romps

  1. Hopefully this will encourage other past employees to come out and verify what we’ve already said for years. The bottom line is that Leo Laporte, Lisa Laporte and TWiT.tv are the scourge of the Internet and quite possibly humanity.

How has her husband not got her pregnant yet? Repeatedly?

Those sweet boobs need to be put to good use.

Once you have a baby your life revolves around the little bastard. With no kids her husband is probably worshipping her like the goddess she is.

Yep – pre kids = banging every single day.
Post kids = banging once a week.

Banging every single day – pre kids? Not a chance.

Post Kids…Shit…once a week?…right. If she’s like your average female once a month is going to be a stretch. Trust me…been there done that and have dozens of male comrades to back me up. It a very small percentage of women who #1) have the right (and consistent) balance of hormones that allow them to have a “sex drive” after kids and #2) few give a shit about their husbands “needs” after kids. Most guys are just pussy’s and let their testosterone drop to keep their libido down. Fuck that.

  2. Dislike the sadness Snubs couldn’t hide in her last weeks at TWIT. Also dislike the disrespectful and sexually unfortunate way some comments are unfair to someone who the original article supported.

Pleased that the TekThing is her own space with a respectful co-host.

        1. I think there was a falling out with Patrick. He is never on TWiT or TNSS.

It’s funny, everything started going pear shaped when TNSS launched. It was billed as The Screen Savers 2.0, with all of the old faces and segments, and instead it is far and away the worst show on TWiT.

JCD refused to cohost it and was promptly excommunicated. Kevin Rose shows up once a year to plug some shitty app, and when he does they treat him like a prisoner to record segments. But Patrick Norton, Sarah Lane, Martin Sargent, none of those people want to be bothered.

    1. What a blow to Leo’s massive ego.

I happened to catch this conversation on This Week in Goolag and Leo is intent on getting on the list, so much so that he has a bot Tweeting out 5-10 tech articles a day. Sad!

In the recent Windows Weekly a report was discussed that lists the most influential tech writers.
Paul and Leo aren’t on the list which is why you won’t find it in the show notes.

I checked twice but public intellectual Professor Jeff Jarvis guru of journalism is not on the list

This is pretty interesting. If you read further down, they also have a top 100 list. Leo is #63 on that. But yeah, lots of TWiT contributors and alumni, including Alex Wilhelm and Mike Elgan. I didn’t see Paul on there, though. Which must hurt considering Mary Jo is #12.

In other news, who knew Sarah Lacy was still employed, let alone one of the most influential tech journalists…

    3. Let’s be honest, modern tech journalism is garbage – tech is hot, it’s attracted the worst kind of ambitious social justice warrior airhead – every damn general tech journalist sounds like they came off the same production line.

The only worthwhile articles I see are fairly technical write-ups on people’s blogs – far beyond the capability of the smartphone review crowd.

And add to that the recent spectacle of tech journalists outright lying about James Damore – which was absolutely effing disgusting.

I have no faith in modern American tech journalism, hope most lose their jobs and end up flipping Impossible Burgers.
